August 19th, 2026: The RBC Embark program came to a close with our final showcase. Throughout the summer, my team and I worked hard to build, test, and present our reimagined credit-card caching system, that saves approximately 500 cumulative hours every single day. This project will be entering production in the coming months, and we're excited for our hard work to soon create real-world impact for many years to come.

The showcase was arguably the best part of the summer, and I'm incredibly proud of the energy and clarity our pod brought to the event. We even won the Best Pitch award, a testament to the exceptional storytelling the four of us produced.

Furthermore, I was nominated as the Embark program's valedictorian. At the end of the ceremony, I shared the team's reflection and celebration, and I couldn't be more thankful for the community I was able to represent. We wouldn't have succeeded without the unending support of our mentors, managers, and tech leads, nor without supporting each other through each challenges we faced. I look forward to staying connected with everyone involved in the program!

May 20th, 2026: This event was the culmination of a school year's worth of commitment; our committee worked tirelessly to make this year special with more fundraising, more events, and more connections to a community of cancer fighters. As the committee lead, I'm incredibly grateful for all of the volunteers, sponsors, survivors speakers, supervisors, and participants who made this possible. We reached our goal and hit a new school record of $35,000! Every dollar raised goes toward the Canadian Cancer Society, where they fund cancer research and support for everyone who needs it.

May 6th, 2026: This historic day celebrated M. M. "Bobby" Robinson, my high school's namesake, and the Commonwealth Games he founded. As representatives of the school and the environment, Griffin Dekker and I had the opportunity to present the values we share with Bobby and the games with our city and its representatives. April 14th, 2026: The Family Of Schools Conference brought every principal and vice principal of the HDSB together to learn and take action within the scope of environmental citizenship as school leaders. As one of the event's student panelists, I shared my experience and visions with each of these professionals, inspiring them to take action within their schools.

January 29th, 2026:  Learning for a Sustainable Future and Halton District School Board collaboratively launched an elementary school climate conference; Climate Innovators Forum: Powered by Curiosity & Creativity. 250 students across dozens of schools attended to gain inspiration for a climate action project. As a keynote speaker, I had the opportunity to share my experience with similar action projects, including the inquiry process, budget management, and long-term systems design that facilitates my Eco Club's consistent success.
