Built and shipped an in-house cache, replacing a third-party API dependency hit by 10M+ daily banking app logins. This reduced lookup time from 200ms to 6ms per request and daily compute from an estimated 500 hours to 15 hours
Designed a two-tier store serving reads from Redis (1–2ms) with automatic failover to MongoDB (5–7ms). This maximizes latency mitigation while also ensuring the data stores are write-safe and persistent
Directed AI tools through implementation while owning architecture, review, and validation; load-tested to 8M records at 500 requests/second, roughly 2x production peak, cutting full dataset refresh to 2m18s against a 5-minute target
July 2025 - August 2025: During this month-long full-time co-op, I was involved with 3 independent departments of Vineland: Horticulture Technology Solutions, Biological Crop Protection, and Plant Responses and the Environment.
