During this month-long full-time co-op, I was involved with 3 independent departments of Vineland: Horticulture Technology Solutions, Biological Crop Protection, and Plant Responses and the Environment. To be successful in each, communication, time management, and even strategically planning the long walks across campus were crucial.
Independently designed and built a motorized stage and camera system that quantifies thrips populations under a microscope
Redesigned urban forestry planting documents to precisely reflect the most efficacious care procedures
Evaluated the synergy of dicyphus and various pesticides in controlling pest populations

Involved with all aspects of keeping the shop running; customer service, money management, food preparation, cleaning and hygiene practices, and prep-work.

Manages rush-hour pressure and resolves customer concerns calmly
